Eggers Family Meeting Australia 2006
The Australian side of the Eggers family would love to see you all over in Australia for 2006. It is such a great place you will not want to go home!
We would host the event at the Coastal town of Coffs Harbour which is close to where the late Reeve Waugh lived and near the homes of Rosemary Waugh's and Hans Dieter. Coffs is a great location with a wonderful climate. You would fly into Sydney and then take a flight to Coffs which is a little under an hour flying time North of Sydney. Of course you have to spend a couple of days in Sydney first!
Sample Itinerary which we have put together very quickly.
Arrive at Coffs Harbour mid morning and have a buffet lunch and drinks beside the beach. Informal drinks and dinner that evening. Next day local site seeing and return that late afternoon for formal dinner and meeting. Next day drive to Taloumbi Station for a lunch and drinks in the gardens and return that evening to Coffs. For the adventurous ones you can fly by light plane up the beaches to our own private airstrip were we have our little Coastal escape Toumbaal House. A range of other activities can be arranged after that either locally or going on to other great Australian icons such as the Great Barrier Reef, Uluru in the outback, etc. The options are endless.
Today's costs. It is impossble to give costs out to 2006 however, we will obtain some estimates shortly for the land only costs once you reach Australia. We can arrange all the accommodation and travel at this end as we own a small specialist travel company Blue Skies.

Aanuka Beach Resort is a small resort set in wonderful gardens beside the ocean. It would be a wonderful place for a small group meeting. 3 nights in a deluxe spa bure plus 2 lunches and 2 full dinners would be approximately A$670 per person twin share or about 375 Euros. Domestic return flights from Sydney would be in the vicinity of A$250-300 return. These estimates are of course in today's money so they would naturally increase over time. However, they give you an idea of the costs of traveling within Australia.

Pacific Bay Resort is a larger resort than Aanuka and would be a little cheaper. It is also in a similar location with great facilities.
